Mikaela's Progress
Okay, so I still haven't bought a scale, but I have some happy news. I ate until satisfied during Thanksgiving dinner. I didn't want to burst, I didn't want to die, NOTHING! I was pleasantly full, and it was awesome! I have also lost a few lbs because my pants are looser. I've been shopping more and trying to get out more so I'm not sitting around eating all day long! So there's my update!

Ashley Update
Alright so I missed it by a day. Oh well. Well so far I haven't lost any more, but a good thing I didn't gain any over the Thanksgiving holiday! Let's see how that holds up as I know stress makes me eat. Yipes! Not a good thing. Well I just need to eat good, healthy things when that happens. Well I'm out til next Monday!

Ashley Update
Okay so I started my points for the WW system last Tuesday. I haven't started actually going to meetings or sign up online, because frankly I can't afford it right now. But since I know how it works, I am using the system. So, since Tuesday I am down 3 lbs!! WOO HOO! So that is a good thing for me. I am slowly eating the elephant so to speak. I will keep you posted next Monday. I am hoping to get through the Thanksgiving holiday with no weight gain. We shall see!!

Ashley Update
Well I have some bad news and good news. The bad news is I haven't lost anything and haven't altered my eating habits or worked out since my last post. The reason being no time. I spent most of last week cleaning my house, and having my parents here until yesterday. So that was a little stressful.
The good news: I haven't gained any either! That is a feat in itself, as I tend to eat when stressed out and last week was a doosy. So I am now recommitting myself to losing weight and size. Starting Monday (my birthday is tomorrow so free weekend) I will be doing my pilates in the morning and the treadmill at night. Eating right and watching my caloric intake and points. I am going to try to do the WW thing again. It totally works if you just do it. I lost 20lbs last year in 2 months. SO I am really wanting to do this right and stick to it. Wish me luck!!

Well I forgot that I was supposed to post yesterday so I will today. This is the beginning of my journey. I have lost 27 of 35lbs gained with pregnancy. Don't get me wrong. I have a long long long way to go before I get to be where I want. So I start this week with the focused workouts and healthy eating. I will post my progress on Monday.

The reason for this lovely blog
My lovely cousin Mikaela and I decided it was time for us to go from frumpy to fab. So every Monday we are going to check in and post our weight loss or our healthy choices. Inches lost etc. It will be something that will keep us motivated and essentially be a place that we are accountable for what choices we make. When we reach small goals we will be rewarded with small things like pedicures, gift card to iTunes etc. When we reach our big goal we are treating ourselves to a shopping spree and fun weekend in Vegas!Join us in our journey and feel free to comment and tell us your accomplishments!!
